Founders of KK Éclat, Karen and Katherine, have long been traversing the globe due to their family business. The frequent long-haul flights and shifts in diverse climate took a toll on their skin, making it increasingly fragile.
Navigating between the humidity of Hong Kong, the dryness of Monaco, the cold of Toronto, and the heat of the Philippines, sometimes they found themselves in both winter and summer on the same day. And at the same time, they indulged in late-night poker, clubbing, music festivals, and enjoying champagne, whiskey, baijiu, and other delights. In an effort to support this lifestyle, they tried a myriad of skincare products from various countries, of different textures, and with a wide price ranges, yet none proved satisfactory.
Their breakthrough came during an investment discussion with a tech company, when they voiced their skincare frustrations. The company suggested leveraging their patented Nano Frame technology, which had successful applications in other industries already, to develop skincare products. After an in-depth exploration and testing of this technology, they confirmed that the Nano Frame results in the rapid absorption of skincare ingredients while forming a protective shield on the skin surface to maintain prolonged hydration. Excited by this breakthrough, they immediately assembled a team of experts and technical specialists to create a bespoke skincare line.
Following numerous adjustments and optimizations, KK Éclat was born—a skincare line tailored for those with irregular routines, for frequent travellers, and for those who relish life.
So, our story is: we did not find the perfect skincare product. We created it.
